Husband Kills and Dismembers Wife, Body Part Found in Bathroom and Legs in Backyard

On January 26, around 10 a.m., a citizen called the police to report a murder at the address 5/1-1 Tigranyan Street, Vanadzor. This was reported by the Police of Armenia.

A response team that arrived at the scene discovered the dismembered body of the homeowner, 71-year-old Alvard K., in the bathroom, while her legs were found in the backyard.

As a result of the measures taken, it was established that during the night of January 26, the 76-year-old husband had killed his wife with sharp cutting tools and then dismembered her body.

The 76-year-old man has been taken into custody by the Vanadzor department of the police and arrested. An investigation is underway.

According to shamshyan.com, the police of Lori Province in Vanadzor are attempting to form an opinion that they discovered the suspect V. Karamyan shortly after the murder, whereas he had voluntarily presented himself to the authorities.
