The expenses for military consultations being conducted by the Canadian government in Ukraine will amount to 340 million Canadian dollars (approximately $268 million). This was announced by Ukraine's Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov, as reported by TASS.
"Canada has decided to allocate 340 million Canadian dollars to Ukraine and has agreed to extend the Unifier operation for another three years, significantly expanding its mission," the Ukrainian minister wrote on social media.
It was previously announced that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that military personnel involved in training under the Unifier operation would remain in Ukraine until 2025. The number of troops has increased from 200 to 400.
