Two Employees of Veolia Water Rescued from Manhole by Citizens and Rescuers and Transferred to Hospital

On January 25, an emergency incident occurred in the Shirak region. At approximately 16:10, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call at the 9-11 crisis management center, reporting that during work in a manhole belonging to Veolia Water in the village of Panik, the condition of two employees worsened. One of the injured was rescued by citizens, while the other required the assistance of rescuers to be brought out.

The police identified the victims as 58-year-old H. Adamyan and 64-year-old K. Kalajyan. They were transported to the hospital showing signs of carbon dioxide poisoning.

K. Kalajyan's health was assessed as satisfactory, while H. Adamyan's condition was considered moderate.
