Horrific Incident: Man Kills Wife in Vanadzor, Then Dismembers Her Body

On January 26, around 10 AM, a citizen called the police to report that a murder had occurred at the address 5/1-1 Tigranian Street, Vanadzor. The Armenian Police have confirmed this information.

The investigative group that arrived at the scene discovered the dismembered body of the homeowner, Alvard K., born in 1952, in the bathroom, while her legs were found in the backyard.

As a result of the measures taken, it was revealed that during the night of January 26, the 76-year-old husband had killed his wife with sharp tools and then dismembered her body. The 76-year-old man has been taken to the police department of Taron and has been arrested.

An investigation is underway.
