VIDEO: Man Fires Assault Rifle in Central Kyiv

In Kyiv, an armored car employee opened fire with an assault rifle, believing that a vehicle was attempting to be robbed, reports Ukrainian publication "Vesti." Earlier, Russian-language media reported that an unknown individual had fired an automatic weapon in central Kyiv, near the building of the Security Service of Ukraine.

However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified to Ukrainian media that there was a misunderstanding. According to police information, the employee of the armored service assessed the approach of the vehicle as an attack and fired several shots into the air. Fortunately, no one was injured.
