Iran Approves Vaccination of Children Aged 9-12 Against Coronavirus

The Iranian Ministry of Health has approved the vaccination of children aged 9-12 against the coronavirus. The announcement regarding the start of vaccinations was made on January 22 by the Governor of Tehran, Mohsen Mansouri, on Iranian state television, as reported by the Regnum agency.

The vaccination will be conducted on a voluntary basis and only with parental consent. The dosage of the vaccine will be determined by the Iranian Ministry of Health in collaboration with the National Council for Combating Coronavirus.
