‘During the War, He Mocked and Insulted Armenians’: Father Yeznick Martiryantsi on Morgenstern's Concert in Armenia

During the 44-day Artsakh war, the Bashkir Alisher Valeev, better known as Morgenstern, mocked and insulted Armenians. He is set to hold a solo concert in March at the Sports and Concert Complex. This was stated by Father Yeznick Martiryantsi of the Saint George Church of Masis and the spiritual shepherd of Ayntap on his Facebook page.

“Alisher Valeev, who is of Bashkir descent and is more popularly known as Morgenstern, is a rapper operating in Russia. He was expelled from the country by internal security last November and is currently in Dubai. He is known among teenagers and young people for promoting immorality, drug addiction, and anti-Christian propaganda. He is an open Satanist and does not hide his disdain for Christian values. During the 44-day Artsakh war, he mocked and insulted Armenians,” he wrote.

“And this person is planning to hold a concert in March at the Sports and Concert Complex—an event where most of the lyrics are insults and disgrace. We have practically exhausted all tickets for this above-mentioned Satanist, who mocks the Armenian nation, and we are anxiously waiting to hear his insulting ‘songs.’ We find such events unacceptable and are against allowing our youth to participate in this,” he added.
