In Armenia, a campaign of terror has been unleashed against you for a considerable time, an assault. The last words are being said from the podium of the National Assembly, and if this is not stopped, just as the courts were besieged, your newsrooms will be besieged too. This was stated by Gegham Manukyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, addressing journalists during a speech in the National Assembly.

The MP also recalled the statements made by the ruling party's MP Vahagn Aleksanyan yesterday in the National Assembly, where he referred to certain journalists as 'prostitutes.'

Manukyan said that he would reach out to international organizations regarding this matter. 'You are becoming victims of terror, and society is also becoming a victim of terror. As an MP, I will address international organizations. This is a dangerous trend in our country, and I also appeal to the political majority—remember, tomorrow you may not be in power, and without power, you too may need protection. For the sake of all, do not allow this terror,' emphasized Gegham Manukyan.
