Video: Alexanyan’s Prostitution Remark Aimed at Simonian; Now He Addresses Him as Esteemed NA President, Khmoyan Says

Your political party leader is also a journalist, a former editor, who has been in our field for years. Yet your teammate yesterday referred to a section of the journalist community as "verbal prostitutes" and offered moral lessons. This was stated by Agnessa Khmoyan, a deputy from the Armenia faction, in the National Assembly, responding to the statement made the previous day by the pro-government deputy Vahagn Alexanyan from the podium.

“The man who once led a fake factory for one of the parties had previously labeled Alen Simonian as a 'prostitute.' A person who, after that characterization, comes to this podium and addresses Alen Simonian as 'esteemed NA President' is now talking about morality,” Khmoyan said, questioning whether Vahagn Alexanyan has apologized to Alen Simonian for his previous comments.

Khmoyan also noted that none of the journalist deputies from the ruling party criticized their colleague’s statement.
