In the 71st minute of the match, Manchester United's head coach Ralph Rangnick decided to make a substitution, bringing in defender Harry Maguire in place of forward Cristiano Ronaldo. This move did not sit well with the Portuguese star, who reacted by throwing the jacket he had been given to the ground and sitting on the steps next to the substitutes' bench.

Later, Ronaldo picked up the jacket and put it on. He was also seen actively engaging in discussions with someone.
