Man Stabs Woman in Lori, Attempts to Strangle Her

On January 19, a violent robbery occurred in the Lori region. According to shamshyan.com, the senior operative of the Tumanyan division of the police reported to his superiors that through operational-search measures, it was revealed that a resident of Lori, Anahit A., had been in a cohabitation relationship with a resident of Kotayk, Kamo K., and they had regularly argued.

On January 19 at around 11:30 AM, Kamo K. allegedly had another unwarranted dispute with Anahit A. Inside their trailer, he threatened her with a knife, claiming he would kill her, then stole her SAMSUNG G6 mobile phone from the table. After that, he again threatened her with the knife and attempted to flee. However, in fear, Anahit A. escaped from the trailer, demanding that he return her phone and leave her property; otherwise, she would go to the police.

After this, Kamo K. chased her down and caught her in the street, then caused her physical pain by choking her. Nevertheless, Anahit A. managed to free herself from his grasp and fled.

Following the incident, the Lori regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia is preparing materials regarding the case. The police and investigative department are conducting the necessary joint operational and investigative measures to locate the suspect Kamo K. and the stolen mobile phone.
