COVID-19 Updates for January 16

As of January 16, there have been 240 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 347,617.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, one citizen has died from the virus in the past day, increasing the total number of fatalities to 8,019.

As of January 16, the number of deaths where COVID-19 was involved but other illnesses were the primary cause has reached 9,534.

In the last 24 hours, 91 individuals have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 333,609. A total of 4,217 tests were conducted in the past day, with an overall total of 2,640,615 tests completed to date.
