Australian Court Ruling on Djokovic's Case Revealed
The Australian court has revealed its ruling regarding world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic, whose visa had previously been canceled twice. The court rejected the request from Djokovic's lawyers, and he has lost the case. As a result, he has failed to secure a visa to Australia and will soon be deported from the country. This was reported by journalist Ben Rothenberg on his Twitter page.
It is notable that Djokovic arrived in Melbourne on January 5 to participate in the Australian Open, which is set to start on January 17. The Australian Border Force detained the tennis player at the airport and, after questioning, canceled his visa on the night of January 6. Djokovic had attempted to enter Australia unvaccinated, claiming a medical exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine. However, the border force deemed the provided information insufficient. Although the tennis player was initially set to be deported, the court overturned this decision on January 10.
