Extraordinary Incident in Tavush: Gunshot Heard in Noyemberyan, Injured Reported

Today, on January 15, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Tavush region. At around 03:35, the Noyemberyan police department received a report of a theft taking place at the address Terian 36 in Noyemberyan.

According to shamshyan.com, it was determined by the police that on the same day, around 03:10, a resident of one of the communities in Noyemberyan, 25-year-old Gor E., entered the balcony of 60-year-old Harutyun G.'s house by climbing over the fence.

This was noticed by Harutyun G.'s daughter, who informed her father. Harutyun then chased Gor E., who jumped from the balcony into the street, attempting to escape. However, Harutyun fired one shot at Gor E. with a registered Saiga MK type hunting shotgun.

According to reports, Gor E. sustained a gunshot wound to the lower body. The Noyemberyan police located Harutyun G. and took him into custody, along with the firearm.
