Accident in Shirak Province: 4 People Transferred to Gyumri Medical Center

Today, on January 15, an accident occurred in Shirak Province. Around 16:30, vehicles Nissan Pathfinder and Mercedes collided near the "Shirak" airport along the Yerevan-Gyumri highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, 4 individuals were transferred to the Gyumri medical center for medical examination.

Emergency services from the Gyumri Fire and Rescue Squad No. 48 promptly arrived at the scene. The firefighters disconnected the vehicles from power, closed the gas tanks, and cordoned off the area, while also assisting two of the injured individuals who were reached by the emergency medical services that arrived quickly.

The investigation at the scene was led by senior investigator Nairi Gasparyan from the same squad, and materials are being prepared regarding the incident. The police are identifying the drivers and the injured parties.
