Driver Dies in Car Accident in Yerevan

On January 16, at 03:50, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report about a road traffic accident near the park adjacent to the Yerevan Municipality, with injuries reported. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that an 'Opel Astra' and a 'Mercedes-Benz S500' (driver D. H., born in 1993) had collided near a children's park on Beirut Street.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles' power, closed the gas valve on the 'Opel Astra', and transported three injured individuals to the ambulance. They were hospitalized at the 'Heratsi' Medical Center, where H. B. (born in 1988) was pronounced dead.
