Army Private Arthur Mkrtchyan from Gyumri Killed in Azerbaijani Provocation

The 20-year-old Private Arthur Artemi Mkrtchyan, who lost his life due to the provocations carried out by Azerbaijani units on the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, was from the city of Gyumri. Arthur was conscripted into the army in March 2021 and had siblings. He was also a wrestler.

It is noted that yesterday, January 11, the Ministry of Defense reported that in the combat operations resulting from the Azerbaijan side's provocation, the Armenian side suffered two fatalities: Private Arthur Artemi Mkrtchyan (born 2002) and Junior Sergeant Ruddik Rafik Gharybayan (born 2002).

Today, the Ministry of Defense announced another casualty: Private Vahan Vachaghani Babayan (born 2003).
