Video: Broke the Door and Entered a 'Haypost' Branch

On the night of January 9, around 1:50 AM, employees of the surveillance and alert center of Haypost received a report from one of the postal branches. At the same moment, surveillance devices recorded an individual wearing a hat, mask, and gloves entering the postal branch on Garegin Nzhdeh Street, who was using some tool to open locked drawers and committing theft. This was reported by the Police of Armenia.

Simultaneously, the security staff of Haypost forwarded the alert to the police. Patrol officers detained the fleeing man on Garegin Nzhdeh Street, incapacitated him, and took him in for questioning on suspicion of theft at the Shengavit police department.

During the investigation at the police station, the man's identity was established. A search revealed money stolen from the branch, gloves, and other items. A criminal case has been initiated. The 38-year-old resident of Yerevan has been arrested. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified during the pre-trial investigation.
