Russian Citizen Crashes Snowmobile into Tree in Kotayk, Injured

On January 11, a snowmobile accident occurred in the Kotayk region. At around 3:00 PM, a 31-year-old Russian citizen, Volodya Makaryan, who is temporarily residing in the Masyan community, lost control of his snowmobile (Buран) and crashed into a tree near the "Arjanots" restaurant in Tsaghkadzor.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, V. Makaryan was transported to the "Hrazdan" medical center with a diagnosis of a broken lower jaw.

Officials from the 2nd division of the 3rd platoon of the traffic police arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Arthur Petrosyan and platoon commander Sargis Bagratyan. A response team from the Hrazdan police department, led by senior inspector G. Poghosyan of the community police division, also arrived at the scene.
