Children in Karmir Shuka Didn't Attend School or Kindergarten Due to Azerbaijani Forces
In the village of Karmir Shuka in the Martuni region of Artsakh, children did not attend school or kindergarten today. This was reported in an interview with a resident of Karmir Shuka who wished to remain anonymous.
Yesterday, Azerbaijani forces opened fire for about 10 minutes using various firearms towards the direction of the Karmir Shuka and Taghavard communities around 2:30 PM. A parked "UAZ" vehicle near the kindergarten was set on fire.
“Today it is calm, nothing happened. They fired yesterday, and the vehicle burned. The kindergarten and school are close to the border, so it is clear that the children are scared and have not gone to school or kindergarten until now. My child did not go to school, and the children of our relatives did not go either. I spoke with the principal, and we'll see how they will conduct lessons; we might organize them online,” the interviewee said.
According to the resident of Karmir Shuka, yesterday's incident occurred very close, and the people are somewhat fearful and cautious. Regarding agricultural work (animal husbandry, farming), he mentioned that work is being done in some areas, but Azerbaijani forces continue to steal livestock from the residents.
“Our friend's livestock didn't even cross the border, it can be said that it was near us. They came, killed one of the animals, and took about 45 others away, later releasing 10 of them. They are working the tractor while shooting at it,” he concluded.
