12-Year-Old Child Dies in Car Accident with Vaz 21214

The Investigative Committee of Armenia's Aragatsotn region has opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code regarding a fatal car accident that occurred on the Ohanaavan-Artashavan inter-community road.

According to preliminary data, on January 8, 2022, around 12:00 PM, a 12-year-old boy lost control of the Vaz 21214 vehicle he was driving, veered off the roadway, and overturned, resulting in his immediate death.

A forensic examination of the body has been appointed as part of the investigation. An inquiry is underway.
