Road Conditions in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The road from Amberd Fortress to Karni Lake in the Aragatsotn Province is closed. The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to traverse for heavy vehicles with trailers.

Regarding Lars, according to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
