Strange Illness Spreading in Canada
Young residents of Canada have started falling ill with a strange and severe disease, with the first cases reported in New Brunswick. This was reported by The Guardian, referencing a spokesperson from the Vitalité health network.
According to the publication's source, the unknown illness is causing a rapid decline in cognitive abilities among young Canadians. This type of illness was first recorded around 2 years ago. Despite the time that has passed, doctors have yet to determine the cause of this brain disease.
Earlier this year, it became evident that the mysterious illness is being recorded more frequently. People who are believed to be afflicted with this disease are experiencing muscle spasms, as well as disruptions in the functioning of the vestibular system and memory-related issues. Other symptoms include pain in the legs and arms. Hallucinations, weight loss, and insomnia are also not excluded.
It has been revealed that this disease may be transmitted among those who care for the affected individuals. As explained by the Canadian health network staff, the number of confirmed cases is increasing. Interestingly, individuals are being admitted to hospitals who previously had no health issues. Currently, the official number of cases under investigation is 48.
The source does not rule out that the number of infected Canadians could reach 150.
