Arrest Sahakyan Dies 11 Days After Knockout

Russian boxer Arrest Sahakyan has died after spending 11 days in a coma due to injuries sustained in the ring. According to Life.ru, his sister announced the athlete's death on her Instagram page.

The fatal blow was delivered during the "Kings of Knockout" tournament held in Tolyatti. During the competition, which took place on December 26, Sahakyan was struck in the head by his opponent, causing him to fall into a coma. Doctors diagnosed him with brain swelling but were unable to save his life.
