European and World Champion Bagrat Ohanyan Passes Away

Bagrat Ohanyan, the European junior and youth boxing champion in the super heavyweight category and bronze medalist at the European Championships for adults, has passed away after a long illness. The Armenian Boxing Federation reported the news.

Ohanyan achieved victories in over 250 amateur bouts and 11 professional fights. He was a multiple-time champion of Armenia among youth, as well as a junior European and World Champion, and was recognized as the best boxer at the 1999 Junior World Championships.
