Major Fire Erupts in Yerevan: Blaze Breaks Out in Apartment on Sayat Nova Avenue

At around 22:10, the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue service received a call at the 911 crisis management center, indicating that a fire had broken out in an apartment at building 25 on Sayat Nova Avenue.

Two fire-fighting units promptly arrived from the Yerevan Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, followed by two additional fire units. Meanwhile, citizens attempted to combat the spread of the fire before the firefighters arrived.

Rescuers evacuated a significant number of residents from the building. As a result of the fire, the apartment owner, 55-year-old Narine D., sustained surface burns to her upper extremities and received on-site medical assistance from the emergency medical team that arrived swiftly.
