Protesters Set Fire to Kazakhstan's State Television Branch

In Kazakhstan, protesters have seized and set fire to the Almaty branch of the national state television channel, Kazakhstan TV. Reports indicate that there are no firefighters or police present at the scene.

Officers from the city’s police department are taking defensive positions and returning fire towards the radicals.
