Kadyrov Calls on Kazakh People Not to Destabilize the State

The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, during a live broadcast on Instagram, called on the Kazakh people not to destabilize the state and not to fall under the influence of provocateurs. He compared the events in Kazakhstan to the scenario of the beginning of military operations in Chechnya, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“People have taken to the streets due to the price of gas, they are destroying, they are killing. Why destroy? Why be aggressive, beating police officers? They are committing crimes and will be punished for it later,” Kadyrov stated.

He also urged those who “are leading these protests” to stop, noting that the government accepted its resignation and reduced the gas price.

“War never leads to good, war brings destruction, annihilation, and death... I ask those who are leading these protests to stop,” Kadyrov added.

It is worth noting that today, protesters have seized the residence of the President of Kazakhstan in Almaty.
