Tokaev Thanks Pashinyan
The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokaev, expressed gratitude in his address to Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as to the Presidents of Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, for the decision to send the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces to Kazakhstan.
He specifically stated, “As you know, based on the main provisions of the CSTO statutory documents, Kazakhstan turned to the heads of member states, requesting to deploy a collective peacekeeping force to support the establishment of constitutional order. This force arrived in our country in a short time to carry out defense and security functions. I would like to sincerely thank the Prime Minister of Armenia, who presides over the CSTO, as well as the Presidents of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. I express special gratitude to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. He responded to my request very promptly and, most importantly, in a friendly and warm manner,” Tokaev said, as reported by Armenpress.
