How Can Pensioners Find Out Which Organization Will Provide Their Cashless Pension?

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs informs that starting from January 1, in all cities of Armenia, pensions and benefits provided through the pension payment system will be paid in a cashless manner.

Pensioners living in urban areas who received their pension in cash until December 30, 2021, and have not applied to change their method of pension payment, have been automatically assigned a cashless payment organization (national operator via electronic money or banks) through the use of a program module.

Citizens can find out about the selected organization online. To do this, they need to access the Unified Social Service website via a link and enter the pensioner's personal details in the opened window.

Pensioners can apply at any time to any territorial center of the Unified Social Service to change their payment organization, including the one selected through the aforementioned program module.

It should be noted that this cashless payment system also applies to care benefits and pensions provided as old-age benefits, disability benefits, benefits in case of loss of a breadwinner, bonuses, and honorary payments.

Additionally, individuals with 1st or 2nd category disability, pensioners who are 75 years of age or older, as well as minors aged 14 and older who receive pensions through a proxy, can receive their pension in either cash or cashless form at their discretion.
