The Entire Community is Shocked: About the Deceased Conscription Soldier
Moses Aramayis Tadewosyan, a conscription soldier who passed away on December 31, 2021, was from the village of Sevan in the Gegharkunik region.
“Moses came from a large family with six children: four brothers and two sisters. One of the brothers is a contract soldier, while Moses and Joseph were serving as conscription soldiers. They are from a socially disadvantaged family, as the parents do not have permanent jobs. I personally did not know Moses, but everyone in the community says he was a very good kid, and he never stood out for anything bad,” said Armine Ghukasyan, the secretary of the Sevan community administration, to Mediahub.am.
According to her, the entire community is in shock, and they stand by the family as a united front. “We welcomed the New Year with very sad news; the loss of every soldier is a double hurt. I learned about the incident on the 31st, and no details about the boy's death are circulating in the community because it is a very sensitive topic. Only eyewitnesses can explain what happened,” concluded the secretary of the Sevan community administration.
Earlier, it was reported that on December 31, 2021, a conscription soldier of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Private Moses Aramayis Tadewosyan (born in 2003), was found with a gunshot wound to the head at one of the combat outposts of a military unit stationed in Vayots Dzor.
