Elderly Couple's Home Robbed in Lori Province

Authorities in the Lori province of Armenia are investigating a residential burglary that took place on January 3rd, as reported by shamshyan.com.

Police and investigators, including the head of the Gugark Police Department, Melinee Yeghshatyan, and investigator Adamyan from the Lori regional investigative department, responded to the scene.

The homeowners reported that from 10:00 AM on December 31, 2021, to 5:00 PM on January 3, an unknown individual or individuals opened a window in the bedroom, entered the house, and stole approximately 3 million drams, 1000 USD, two gold rings, and jewelry equivalent to around 4000 USD.

Following the incident, forensic examinations have been initiated by the Lori regional investigative department to determine the total extent of the damage. Police and investigation officials are conducting necessary operational and investigative actions to uncover the crime, identify the perpetrators, and recover the stolen items.
