Fire Breaks Out at State Register: Four Firefighting Units Respond

A fire occurred today, January 3, in Yerevan. At around 08:35, a call was received at the Emergency Situations Ministry's 911 crisis management center notifying them of a fire raging at the state register located at 49/3 Komitas Avenue.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, two firefighting units from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Service's 5th Fire Department, one unit from the 11th Fire Department, and one unit from the 13th Fire Department arrived promptly at the scene.

A complexity level of “Bis 1” was declared for the fire.

The fire broke out on the second floor of the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. The fire was localized around 08:50 and completely extinguished by 09:05.
