Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Yerevan

Today, on December 30, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 19:00, a 73-year-old resident of Yerevan, Misak K., driving his Mercedes, struck a middle-aged woman pedestrian at 1 Charents Street, near the administrative building of the Armenian Police.

According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene and attempted to assist the injured pedestrian; however, the emergency medical team that arrived promptly confirmed the pedestrian's death.

The police and the investigative division are determining the identity of the deceased. By the investigator's order, the vehicle is being transferred to a secured area maintained by the Yerevan patrol service.
