Major Car Accident in Tavush Province: VAZ 21099 Collides with Ministry of Defense Kamaz, 5 Injured
Today, December 29, a major car accident occurred in Tavush Province. At around 19:50, a collision took place between a VAZ 21099 and a Kamaz freight truck registered to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia on the 34 km section of the Ijevan-Berd roadway.
According to journalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, five individuals have been transported to the Ijevan Medical Center with bodily injuries.
The journalist reports that since it has been established that the Kamaz is registered to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, officers from the Tavush Province Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense have arrived at the scene, where materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
The police and military police are identifying the drivers and the injured parties. According to G. Shamshyan's information, two of the injured are receiving necessary medical assistance at the Ijevan Medical Center, and they are currently being transferred by a reanimobile to one of the hospitals in Yerevan.
