Muradyan Suggests Sending Doctors to Baku to Assess Captives' Health Status
During a meeting with representatives of Azerbaijan's society, the Rector of Yerevan State Medical University, Armen Muradyan, raised concerns regarding the health status of Armenian prisoners of war held in Baku. Shushan Danielyan, the head of the university's staff, shared details about the meeting with Sputnik Armenia, which took place in Moscow.
It was previously reported that representatives from Armenian and Azerbaijani societies convened in Moscow, facilitated by Mikhail Shvidkoy, the Special Representative of the Russian President for international cultural cooperation.
“Armen Muradyan addressed the health issues related to the captives. In particular, during discussions with the Azerbaijani side, he suggested that, if possible, a group of doctors from either Armenia or at least a neutral country should be sent to Baku to obtain reliable information regarding the captives' condition,” Danielyan noted.
She also emphasized that the most crucial issue was the question of the captives' return.
