Government Residences to Welcome New Inhabitants: Suren Papikyan Has a Chosen One
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that government residences will soon welcome new inhabitants. National Assembly President Alen Simonyan, along with his family, and newly appointed Defense Minister Suren Papikyan are set to relocate there.
Currently, the families of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan reside in these government accommodations. After his resignation from the position of National Assembly President, it was assumed that Mirzoyan would vacate the government summer residences; however, he waited until he was appointed as Foreign Minister.
In general, the right to reside in government residences is granted to members of the Security Council, although typically it is on the invitation of Nikol Pashinyan. Interestingly, among this group, only Suren Papikyan does not have a family, but he already has a chosen partner and is expected to marry soon.
