Heavy Rain and Snow on Yerevan-Sevan Highway: Trucks Pile Up

Heavy rainfall is currently being reported on many sections of the Republic, including the Yerevan-Sevan highway, where there are also blizzard conditions that are complicating visibility. This was reported by Hraparak.am, which also published footage of the situation.

“Vehicles are moving with great difficulty, and in addition, there has been no salt or sand spread on the roads, although we did notice some service vehicles. However, the road is mostly impassable. In the areas of the ‘Chayni’ turns and above towards Charentsavan, dozens of trucks are parked, creating additional obstacles for other road users. Therefore, we advise drivers to be extremely cautious and to be careful not to collide with the parked trucks on the roadside,” the publication notes.
