What is the Situation on Armenia's Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The road from the Amberd Fortress to Lake Kari in the Aragatsotn region is closed. Due to the danger of rockfalls, the road from the village of Zovuni to the Koryan Gorge is temporarily closed.

The Toros-Vardaghbyur road in the Shirak region is difficult to traverse. In the region of Amasia, Shirak, it is currently snowing. There is a snowdrift in the region of Ashotsk, Shirak.

Foggy conditions are reported on the Yerevan-Eraskh road. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia in the Russian Federation, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
