Video: 23-Year-Old Detained in Hrazdan Gorge for Selling Cocaine via Telegram

On December 12, thanks to the professional work of the police patrol service from the Yerevan Battalion, a case of illegal possession and distribution of drugs was revealed.

During an evening patrol in the Hrazdan Gorge, officers noticed a suspicious young man and detained him on suspicion of drug possession and use, bringing him to the Malatya police station. The detained individual is a 23-year-old resident of the village of Khoronk in the Armavir region.

A personal search revealed 8 packets of a white powdery substance, a concealed knife, and an object resembling a firearm, which turned out to be a lighter. According to preliminary data, the substance found is cocaine, which the young man was distributing via the Telegram platform.

A criminal case has been initiated concerning the incident. The detainee has been arrested, and circumstances are under investigation.
