Flyone Armenia's Yerevan-Moscow Flight Canceled Leaving Passengers Stranded
It was announced yesterday that the inaugural flight of Flyone Armenia, a recently established airline from Moldova, scheduled for today on the Yerevan-Moscow route, has been canceled. According to hraparak.am, the reason is that Russia has not granted permission for this airline to operate flights to Russian cities.
The flight was set to depart at 7:00 AM today, and until last night, the online system of Zvartnots Airport indicated that the flight would proceed as scheduled. However, this morning it was marked as canceled.
Additionally, Flyone Armenia also had a Moscow-Yerevan flight scheduled to arrive at 13:45, which has also been canceled. There was a frenzy at the airline throughout the day yesterday, and we were informed that civil aviation staff were kept at the company until late at night, being urged to do everything possible to resolve the issue and secure permission from Moscow, but without success.
Passengers who purchased inexpensive tickets with Flyone Armenia are now faced with the reality that their flight has been canceled. Attempts to obtain a comment from the airline have been unsuccessful.
The media outlet also tried to reach the Civil Aviation Committee for a statement, but there was no response to calls from there either. The official phone number listed on Flyone Armenia's website also goes unanswered.
