Unfortunately, We Entered the Market a Bit Late: Russian Drones Surpass Turkish Ones
The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Yuri Borisov, has stated that the devices developed in Russia surpass the Turkish Bayraktar drones in terms of technical characteristics. He made this announcement during an interview with the RBC television channel.
“Russian developments not only do not concede but also surpass the UAVs you mentioned in technical specifications,” Borisov said, responding to a question about whether Russian drones can compete with Bayraktar.
“Of course, we have the opportunity to play in this market. Unfortunately, we entered the market a bit late. Historically, it has been occupied by Israeli, American, and Chinese manufacturers, who have been actively present in this market over the past five to six years and are experiencing very aggressive and dynamic growth. But Russia has a chance in this matter,” the Deputy Prime Minister added.
“The last exhibition was in Dubai, where we already presented our samples, which will create new market opportunities, and Russia may join the club of countries exporting this type of weapon,” he concluded.
