Azerbaijan Launches Criminal Case Against Armenian Football Team

Azerbaijan's Attorney General has launched a criminal case against an Armenian football team. This information was reported by the press service of the Azerbaijani Attorney General's Office.

According to the statement, some media outlets and social networks have published information claiming that the Armenian players disrespected the Azerbaijani national flag.

Two criminal cases have been initiated on the grounds of incitement to national hatred and disrespecting the Azerbaijani state flag. A request has been sent to other countries for assistance in this matter.
