Putin's Sole Favorite World Leader Revealed
Russian President Vladimir Putin regards his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a notable figure among world leaders. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov during an interview with Greek 'Antena.'
Peskov elaborated that Putin's attitude towards Erdoğan stems from the latter's significant role in the life of his country and the region. 'Erdoğan is the type of person that President Putin respects. When President Putin says something, he means it and does it,' said the official representative of the Kremlin.
Regarding the disagreements between Moscow and Ankara over several issues, Peskov mentioned that 'it is impossible for there not to be any,' as the interests of the countries often clash. However, he concluded that the presidents always find opportunities to meet, discuss contentious issues, and find solutions.
