No Process Initiated to Remove Ishkhan Zakaryan from Committees: Mamijanyan

The secretary of the National Assembly's "Honorary" faction, Hayk Mamijanyan, stated in an interview with ArmDaily.am that there has been no process initiated to remove Ishkhan Zakaryan from the committees he is part of, in parallel to his departure from their faction. "At this moment, there is no such process. There is a quota, but our faction has fewer members than there are committees in general, so this issue is not relevant in our case. It is not a political decision; it is a regulatory issue. At this time, we are not carrying out any such function," said Mamijanyan.

He added that they will announce if any decision is made regarding this matter.

Regarding some members of their faction expressing disagreement over the demand for the resignation of the NA president Alen Simonyan, he stated that they are united in their support for the "Armenia" faction's initiative and that they have announced this, with no dissenting deputies.
