Video: Chief of Staff of India’s Armed Forces Dies in Mi-17V-5 Helicopter Crash

The Chief of Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, Bipin Rawat, has died as a result of a military helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu, India. This was reported by the ANI news agency. The helicopter carried Rawat along with family members and aides. In total, there were 14 people on board the helicopter. Four fatalities have been confirmed.

The aviation accident occurred in the Nilgiris district, near the town of Coonoor. The helicopter involved was of the Mi-17V-5 type.
