I Can't Say Who It Is. Baldwin Speaks on Operator's Death for the First Time

Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has given his first interview to ABC News, detailing how the gun was used during the filming of "Rust," where the incident led to the death of the film's operator, Halyna Hutchins.

According to the actor, at the necessary moment, the weapon was handed to him by the crew member responsible for the gun, Hannah Gutierrez Reed. "However, if Hannah wasn’t there at that moment, I would have handed the gun to the director’s assistant, David Halls," Baldwin said during the interview, a segment of which has been released. “Someone put a real bullet in the gun; a real bullet should not have existed on set at all. Someone is responsible for what happened, but I can’t say who that is. I know it’s not me. I don’t know what happened on the set,” Baldwin stated.

Additionally, the 63-year-old actor confessed that his career might end following the tragic incident.
