During a Q&A session with the government, Gegham Nazaryan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, raised questions about the agreements reached at the level of deputy prime ministers and the ongoing negotiations beyond the announcements regarding the unblocking of roads. He specifically questioned why the Azerbaijani side was able to slip in a statement about the "Zangezur Corridor" in the Ashgabat agreement.

In response to Nazaryan's inquiry, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan outlined the framework established since the signing of a tripartite agreement on January 11, which led to the formation of a working group and the initiation of discussions. He emphasized a significant note that was subsequently released to the press as an official announcement, detailing the expert groups tasked with developing ideas within the scope of tripartite efforts.

"One subgroup was dedicated to assessing the technical condition of transport infrastructure and identifying technical opportunities, while another subgroup focused on organizing customs, border, and other regulatory functions," Grigoryan stated.

Grigoryan underscored that discussions are being conducted strictly within the frameworks of each country's jurisdiction and sovereignty concerning the roads. "The roads will be under the jurisdiction of the respective country and will be subject to the sovereignty laws of that country. The next issue pertains to technical solutions directly related to infrastructure, particularly concerning railways and roadways. There are fairly general approaches regarding the railway, as our discussions relate to the line connecting Yeraskh to Horadiz. That segment is significant not only as a standalone section but also as a means for establishing a connection with Iran, as well as a link to Georgia's railway, thereby becoming a regionally important infrastructural solution," he noted.

Grigoryan emphasized the importance of finding a technical solution that would achieve regional significance, suggesting that the fundamental peace mandate envisioned would be realized as all countries in the region would have vested interests in these infrastructural projects.

In response to Grigoryan's statements, Nazaryan questioned whether the work undertaken was related to delimitation and demarcation processes, asking if they were interlinked or independent processes. Grigoryan clarified that there is absolutely no connection between these processes, stating, "They are independent processes. Our unblocking process is a straightforward one that is implemented as a regionally significant initiative for communication and economic ties."
