Daniel Ioannisyan, founder of the NGO ‘Informed Citizens’, wrote on his Facebook page: “Before publicizing testimonies of the 62 servicemen who surrendered protecting Khtsaberd and Hin Taghlars to rescue Alen Simonyan, please tell me how it happened that prior to those incidents, you did not raise your voice about the fact that Khtsaberd and Hin Taghlars remained with Azerbaijan on the Russian Ministry of Defense maps. #idiocracy

P.S. I am not defending the surrendered soldiers, but it is necessary to talk about the horrific actions/mistakes of high-ranking officials that lead soldiers to such severe dilemmas.”
