Calling the frontline equipped is mocking the soldiers, says Takhuhit Tovmasyan
Regarding the equipping of the frontline, I continue to receive alerts from soldiers stationed right there. This was stated by Takhuhit Tovmasyan, a member of the 'I Have Honor' parliamentary faction, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, adding that saying the frontline is equipped means mocking the soldiers.
As for the proposal presented by Takhuhit Tovmasyan regarding the soldiers, which was described as populist by My Step faction member Arsen Torosyan, Tovmasyan noted that Arsen Torosyan is a great populist known for his lies since his time as a minister. 'He often made statements that later turned out to be false. Then he could shamelessly deny that he had said such things, claiming that he did not say that. I think Arsen Torosyan should not be taken seriously. The claim by a government representative that this issue has been resolved since 2019 is a lie,' emphasized the MP.
She highlighted that the ruling party members are burdened because they did not present that proposal. Notably, the proposal suggested that the health examination, expertise, and treatment of soldiers be prioritized and provided free of charge.
Tovmasyan argued that if the government had a special attitude towards soldiers, they would have created basic conditions for soldiers after November 9, allowing them to serve under humane conditions. 'The hesitance in equipping the frontline is a manifestation of cowardice because they fear a possible escalation if they carry out any work in this situation. However, back on November 9, when Azerbaijani forces entered and positioned themselves wherever they wanted with their GPS, the Republic of Armenia as a state should have had representatives there, rather than shepherds or civilians welcoming the representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces,' stated Tovmasyan.
